The story of Poupée
“Poupée” means doll in French.
Poupée, the doll of hope, is a character created by Passant Saied, based on a true story. Poupée, a chubby girl, who wants to be a ballerina, while holding on her hope in a ballet shoe.
She loves all colors, yet her favorite color is pink. She usually styles her hair in two buns, tied with two pink bows, believing that they will balance her while trying ballet positions. Her red flower is her companion. It resembles her family. Her rounded cheeks make her irresistibly cute & cuddly.
She’s simple yet deep, wise, full of energy & friendly. “She’s colorful in the middle of a pale world. She knows the true colors of life as beautiful as they are, and she is not allowing the world to pale down her colors”.
She doesn’t want to give up her dream of being a ballerina. She carries a message of hope & happiness, “a person who has no hope, has no life”.
In her diaries, she takes you to her fantasy world. She shares her daily dreams, wisdoms & beliefs. Her diaries keeps her connected with her beloved ones. She draws a picture of herself everyday & writes down a sentence on her dress, in which you take an idea of how she is spending her day.
